God’s Word for Today (USA) 25th June 2025 Devotional
Scripture: Psalm 33:12 (KJV) – “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.”
Devotional Title: “A Nation Anchored in God”
As the United States approaches its Independence Day celebration, this scripture reminds us of a powerful truth: national strength and blessing come from honoring God. Political systems may change, economies may rise and fall, but the foundation of true national prosperity is a people who acknowledge the Lord as their God.
Psalm 33:12 speaks not only to Israel but to any nation and people who choose to exalt God. When a nation prioritizes righteousness, justice, and the fear of the Lord, it opens the door for divine favor and protection. The verse also points to inheritance — a reminder that God’s people are not just called, but chosen and cared for as His own possession.
Today, pray for the United States — for a revival of righteousness, truth, and a turning of hearts back to God. As citizens and believers, let us live in a way that invites God’s blessing over our land.
Prayer:
Lord, we thank You for Your mercy over our nation. We ask that You guide our leaders, heal our land, and bring revival to our homes and communities. Let America return to You in truth and spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Today’s Declaration:
I declare that America is blessed as we return to God. I pray for unity, healing, and righteousness across this land. As God’s chosen people, we walk in His purpose and favor.
